This Privacy Policy explains how Mission Recruit (“Mission Recruit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit missionrecruit.com (the “Site”), contact us, or work with us as a client or a candidate. By using the Site or sharing information with us, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

• Contact form. When you use the form on our Contact page, we collect your full name, email address, company (optional), the area you’re interested in (for example, a recruiting service or “I’m a Job Seeker”), and your message.
• Email and phone. When you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, and the content of your message.
• Candidate information. If you are a job seeker, we collect the information you share with us during the recruiting process, such as your resume, work history, education, skills, job preferences, compensation expectations, and references.
• Client information. If you are hiring, we collect business contact details and information about the roles you need to fill.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. The Site is hosted by Netlify. As with most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time of your visit.
• reCAPTCHA. Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and may set cookies. This information is sent to Google, and its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Web fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information.
• Cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tracking on the Site. Cookies may be set by reCAPTCHA on our contact page. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, but blocking them may prevent the contact form from working.

• To respond to your inquiries and requests.
• To provide our recruiting and placement services, including evaluating candidates for open roles.
• To match candidates with prospective employers and, with your consent, present your candidate profile to them.
• To communicate with you about opportunities, our services, and your engagement with us.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information only as described below:

• Service providers. Companies that help us operate the Site and our business, such as Netlify (website hosting and contact form processing) and Google (reCAPTCHA and web fonts). They may use your information only as needed to provide their services to us or as described in their own privacy policies.
• Prospective employers. If you are a candidate, we share your information with prospective employers with your consent.
• Legal requirements. When we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mission Recruit, our clients, candidates, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred to the successor organization.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing our services, maintaining business records, and meeting legal obligations. If you are a candidate, we may keep your information so we can consider you for future opportunities unless you ask us to delete it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and the Site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
• Communications. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. If you no longer wish to hear from us about recruiting opportunities or services, just let us know by contacting us and we will stop.
• Candidate consent. If you are a candidate, you may withdraw your consent for us to share your profile with prospective employers.

State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, residents of certain U.S. states, such as California, may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, such as the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Where these laws apply to us, we will honor requests as required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-party links and services

The Site links to websites we do not control, including our LinkedIn company page and the Open Positions link, which takes you to Mission Recruit’s job listings on LinkedIn. If you apply for a job or share information through LinkedIn or another third-party site, that information is collected by that provider and governed by its own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review their policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date above. If we make material changes, we will provide notice on the Site.
